An educational workshop all about balance in a Plant based (Vegan/ Vegetarian) diet, ideal for teenagers or those new to Veganism or those just looking for some foodspiration.
Being a Vegan or Vegetarian is not as simple as cutting out animal foods as there are nutrients of major importance that must be obtained from plant sources and this can be tricky if you don't know where to look.
A lot of processed Vegan and Vegetarian products whilst not containing animal products do contain a lot of additives, salt and man made fats that are high in omega 6 fatty acids.
Learn what foods contain protein, carbs and healthy fats and how much of each you need.

Marinaded Tofu rice paper rolls with savoury granola, coriander pesto, soy and ginger dressing
Middle Eastern felafel with slow roasted tomatoes
Green quinoa salad, caramelised onions, currants, lentils, leafy greens and Green Goddess dressing
Portobello mushrooms stuffed with lentils & mixed seeds
Black Olive tapenade with slow roast tomatoes
Middle Eastern Black Bean and Beetroot patties with spicy tomato sauce, cashew nut sour cream & salad
Chocolate beetroot brownie OR Chocolate cherry ripe slice with hemp seeds.
