This twin set should answer all of the questions around family feeding and navigate a path to superior nutrition to all who eat at your breakfast table and from your packed lunch boxes. These classes are excellent for anyone who is confused about what to eat when. Booking in for both classes at once saves you a lovely $20.
These workshop educate and nourish the young and the older alike. Yes I know that there are plenty of adults out there who skip breakfast.
Breakfast, in my humble opinion is the most important meal of the day.
There are many reasons for this and it is especially true for growing bodies who need specific amounts of calcium, iron, omega 3 fatty acids and zinc for cognitive development, healthy skin, immunity, bone strength, energy and focus.
If you skip breakfast it's just too hard to get all of these essential nutrients from the remaining meals. There are multiple studies that tell us that those who eat breakfast are healthier in a plethora of ways.
What we feed our young children influences their palates, likes and dislikes. The food they eat affects their tastebuds, food preferences, behaviour, energy levels and health outcomes.
So for happy, healthy, vital kids (and adults) let's make sure they start the day with a fabulous breakfast.
Learn what foods contain protein, carbs and healthy fats and how much of each they need to get them through the school day. We'll look at traditional breakfasts and find more nutritious alternatives. We'll learn to read labels and understand what all the jargon means.
Recipes & generous tastings
Eggs - about 100 different ways
Porridge & pudding - savoury & sweet from sources that will surprise you
Breakfast loaves & muffins - savoury and sweet
