A cooking and nutrition workshop simply bursting with tips to get the most our of your food, including preparing grains and legumes to maximise nutrient absorption, adding spices to deter inflammation and regulate blood sugar and which fats are best for cooking.
This class follows a modified version of the tried and tested Mediterranean diet philosophy which advocates real food, mostly plants, seasonal vegetables & legumes, fresh fruit, full cream dairy, organic eggs and chicken and small amounts of fish and meat. In other words, a wide range of real food in moderation.
In this whole foods 101 class, you'll learn how to incorporate more whole foods on your menu and why it is important to do this (we'll take a peek at what's lurking in those processed foods we can so easily come to rely on.
