Bliss Ball Bliss

Sweet Treats recipe trial today.  Not having a particularly sweet tooth myself, sweet treats in our house tend to be free from added sweeteners.  They do contain fruit and fruit is very high in fructose which is of course a sugar and like any sugar should not be overindulged in - yeah yeah I know it's dull, but it's true and all those "healthy sweeteners" end up as glucose just like sugar.

The upside of sweetening with fruit is that it provides complexity of flavour, fibre, vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and phyto nutrients, so there is some reprieve.

Anyhow back to the fun of recipe trials....these little bundles of confetti colour are apricot and cranberry bliss balls.  They are delicious! I know I should be using sulphur free and that will be my next trial. In the meantime aren't they pretty?

These little beauties are raw muesli slice.  They have some crunch thanks to buckwheat, sesame and sunflower seeds.   All of my sweet treats are lunchbox friendly, gluten, dairy, egg and nut free.  To order visit the Bliss Ball page
